Initially when i first became interested in brewing my own beer, I had no clue where to start. Thankfully we had a homebrew store based in the town I was attending college that supplied all of the equipment essential to get my feet under me. Although after my first couple of batches of beer, I soon remarked that I'd need to upgrade my beer brewing equipment inventory and fast!

The first item i made a decision to purchase was obviously a large stainless steel pot. Even though the old canning pot I'd on hand did an alright job, I knew that running a dedicated brew kettle was obviously a necessity. Stainless heats faster, letting you boil the wort much faster. Buying a stainless-steel pot was absolutely among the best brewing equipment items I put into my inventory.

Another item that each true home brewer can purchase at some time is really a glass carboy. The traditional plastic fermentation bucket works fine for simple batches of beer, but eventually that bucket will become stained and will actually not benefit all fermentation processes. The glass carboy may also allow the homebrewer to view the fermentation process, and makes the cleanup process easier. Be sure you put in a glass carboy for your beer brewing equipment.

An added item that you should always have on hand can be a quality ingredient kit. When getting started I only brewed beer using malt extracts and packaged hops. As I became more knowledgeable, I began using more grain based kits, and in the end started using my very own mixtures of grains. No matter how much experience you have brewing, continue to keep many different ingredients on hand.

These three backpacks are only the tip of the iceberg in terms of all the possible beer brewing equipment items out there. This didn't take me extended whatsoever to realize that so that you can brew the best beer possible I would need to up my inventory and invest in a few more items. I encourage one to research all possible equipment what to put in more beer brewing inventory, and visit my own site for even other great ideas!
